As Gibsons being a sucess, I have decided to bring back an old favorite yarn base. MERLOT TWIST!!! This fingering weight Superwash Merino is spun from the same gorgeous merino as our regular Merlot Fingering, but with more twisty spin action for longer wear with socks! ( similar to louet gems or CTH supersock). At approx 400 yards per 100g, its got plenty yardage for the average womans size socks! It should be arriving any day early next week!

Also, at Gibsons Fiber Festival we introduced a new yarn- Cabernet Sauvignon fingering. 100 % Superwash Blue Faced Leicester yarn and all I can say is SQUOoOOOOSHY! 422 yards/100 grams perfect for everything from socks to shawls. mmmmmm!This yarn will be listed on the site tomorrow ( Thursday Sept 3) at around noon- 1 pm.

For those who knit along with the Semi Solid Socks group on Ravelry.com, the blue colorways have been added to Zinfandel fingering and to Shiraz as well. Please note that some of the colorways have already sold out. I have ordered more and they will be arriving shortly as early as the beginning of next week so I am taking “custom orders”. I will notify those who have ordered the blue colorways when the yarn arrives, and when it is ready to be shipped out. Yarn should get to you before the KAL starts in October!The new Cabernet Sauvignon AND the returning Merlot Twist will be available for this option as well as soon as I get it up and running on the site.
