Sorry for the lack of writing dudes and dudettes ( hee hee hee) things have been VERY hectic around here!!
First off, couple of announcements! For those going to Sock Summit August 6-9 in Portland Oregon, yarn will be be there!!! Merlot fingering , Shiraz sock and possibly Zinfandel will be joining the sock crazed awesomeness in the marketplace!!! Once I find out if I can post the booth number I will let you know so you can seek out some yarny yummness!
Gibsons Fiber Festival is coming up fast as well in August from the 19th to the 22nd in gorgeous Gibsons British Columbia ! We will have our booth at the Marketplace which runs from the 20th to the 22nd. This year is the 10th anniversary of the festival! There are events EVERYWHERE in the town including workshops , tours and the marketplace! Check out the link for more information! We are looking forward to seeing you there!
For everyone who is on Ravelry there is a Solid Socks group that does a knit along with a different semi solid or solid colored pair every month! There are prizes and sponser Indie dyers who donate prizes and offer discounts on semi solid and solid colorways for the month! This round ( each round lasts a year with a different color every month) , I will be the sponsor dyer for October and that months designated color is BLUES!!! We have a few beautiful blues and more that I am working on ( I will post pics of the new ones on here as well when they are ready, I promise). I have also donated a skein of yarn, a project bag, and a set of stitch markers for prizes for this round as well! I will post the discount on the group and on here at the beginning of September with the code required to redeem it.
